Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Anaura ("Anaura", "we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Anaura provides a digital platform, mobile app and live programme helping women manage the mental load of home, career, finances, relationships and wellbeing, including the Reset Programme, the Organised HER Digital System, the eight individual life dashboards, and The Book.

If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at hello@anaura.co.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what we need to run the programme, the dashboards and the app properly. This includes:

Information you give us directly

  • Name, email address and contact details when you register, purchase, or download a free resource such as the Mental Load Audit

  • Payment information when you purchase a product. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number

  • Content you add to your dashboards, such as household routines, goals, journal entries, wellbeing notes, and, where you choose to enter it manually, financial information for Her Wealth Plan

  • Messages you send us, for example to hello@anaura.co or within the private community

  • Your date of birth or age confirmation, collected once at registration to confirm you are 18 or over

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information, such as app version, general device type and how you interact with the dashboards, used to keep the product working and to improve it

  • Calendar data, only if you grant permission. The app reads relevant dates from your device's native calendar (iOS EventKit or Android Calendar Provider); we do not access your calendar without this explicit permission, and it is never uploaded to our servers for storage

  • Basic website analytics when you visit anaura.co

Financial data (Her Wealth Plan)

Her Wealth Plan currently works on manual entry: the figures you type in stay in your dashboard. If we introduce Open Banking connectivity (for example through TrueLayer, Plaid or Moneyhub) in future, this policy will be updated first, you will be asked for explicit, separate consent before any bank connection is made, and you will always be able to continue using manual entry instead.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account, and to deliver the product or programme you have purchased

  • To process payments and prevent fraud

  • To provide customer support when you contact us

  • To send you service messages, such as confirmations, receipts and essential updates about your account

  • To send marketing communications, only if you have opted in (see Section 10)

  • To understand how the dashboards and app are used, so we can fix problems and improve them

  • To keep Anaura, our community and our systems secure

  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal data, to anyone, ever.

4. Our legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Creating your account, delivering purchased products, processing payments; Performance of a contract

  • Marketing emails and product announcements: Consent, given by opt-in, withdrawable at any time

  • Product improvement, fraud prevention, keeping the platform secure: Legitimate interests, balanced against your rights

  • Age confirmation, consent records: Legal obligation and consent

  • Financial data you choose to enter in Her Wealth Plan: Consent and performance of a contract

5. Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted processors to run Anaura. Each is required, contractually, to protect your data and to use it only for the purpose we specify.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, in which case you would be notified.

Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data continues to receive an equivalent level of protection.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law, for example UK tax and accounting rules typically require us to keep financial records for six years. Dashboard content is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records for longer.
